# MockMate

> MockMate is an AI interview preparation product with two surfaces: adaptive Practice interviews that run in a browser, and a native Windows desktop companion used for authorized live interview and meeting assistance.

- Practice runs in the browser. Rounds adapt to your answers, use interviewer personas, include a code editor for technical rounds, and end with a report covering question-level answers, response timing, recurring weaknesses and a recommended next practice.
- Live assistance runs in a native Windows 10/11 companion app. It is not a browser extension, and there is no Mac, iOS or Android app.
- Live answers are grounded in a session snapshot attached before the session (resume, job description, notes), and every answer is labelled with the context it came from: transcript, manual text, screen text or screenshot.
- Screen context is user-initiated: you deliberately capture a screenshot or read visible text, and can remove a capture before sending it.
- Transcription and answers support mixed Hindi-English (Hinglish) alongside other configured languages.
- Free allowances, credit packs and billing are described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record.
- MockMate asks people to use Live assistance only where the organisation, interviewer or applicable rules permit assistance and disclosure, and to use Practice when permission is unclear. MockMate does not authorise cheating in exams or unauthorised interview use, and does not claim to be undetectable.
